CAE Ceramics Class with Neill Ketchums ends on May 31

The College of Adaptive Education ends their Spring 2018 class. We want to thank Neill Ketchum for welcoming our students to her home!


CAE American Sign Language 200 Begins Jan. 10, 2018

Linda White and her teacher's assistant Evan will be teaching American Sign Language 200 beginning Wednesday, January 10, 2018, from 6:30 - 8:00 PM. This session will require a book "The American Sign Language Phrase Book" by Lou Fant and Barbara Berstein Fant.



CAE begins a new session with An Introduction to American Sign Language

Linda White will be teaching an Introduction to American Sign Language Fall 2017. Classes will be on Wednesday evenings from 6:30 - 8:00 PM beginning Sept. 20. This fun and informative class is back by popular demand!

CAE completes wire sculpture class with Suzette Phillips

CAE completed it's Spring 2017 Wire Sculpture class yesterday. Each piece created is unique and is about the interest of the student. Students work will be on display at Z Cafe in Bonsall in October and November 2017.

CAE apologizes for the confusion of time last night for the ASL class. The correct time of the ASL class is 6:30 - 8:00 PM Thursday nights for 8 weeks.

An Introduction to American Sign Language Offered Winter 2017

The College of Adaptive Education is offering an introduction to American Sign Language beginning Thursday evenings January 12. Instructors are Jessika Puig and Linda White. Classes will be 6:30 - 8:00 PM. This class will teach students 100 common signs. Class is limited to 15. Register early!

Back by Popular Demand: CAE to offer Portrait Painting in Fall 2016

The College of Adaptive Education will be offering Portrait Painting starting Wednesday, Sept. 7.

American Folk Dance class great fun

Last week the College of Adaptive Education ended it's Summer 2016 session. An Introduction to American Folk Dance was a great success and as you can see by the pictures it was a fun time for all! Thank you instructor Sally Baker-Opp! Our next session will be Portrait Painting with Suzette Phillips beginning in September 2016.

Four Week Dance Class Offered This Summer

American Social Dance is a part of United States history and this course will expose students to the historical beginning of the dances.  Students will learn dances such as Electric Slide and Square Dance, as they enjoy music, movement, and interactions with partners and as a group.

CAE offers 3 new classes beginning April 2016

The College of Adaptive Education's classes for Spring session will be Reading for Thinking: Getting Along with Others with instructor Pauline Williams; Portrait Painting with Suzette Phillips; and A Taste of American Social Dance with Sally Baker Opp.. Classes begin April 6 and will be on Wednesday and Thursday evenings through May 26.
